General Contractor and Sole Proprietor ~ Russell J. Perry Jr.
Russell was born into a third generation family of crafted builders on Cape Cod. He attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering in 1978. Working as an engineer for the next several years he shipped overseas to various countries around the world. In 1981 he finished his engineering career on the sea and ventured out in a successful career building custom homes in the state of Florida.
The move to Jupiter, Florida with Robin, his wife of thirty years and a native of Cape Cod, proved to be a start to a lifelong and rewarding career in the construction business. Highland Builders, Inc. was established in 1985, and grew for the next twenty years as Russell capitalized on many building opportunities. Among his accomplishments was the construction of twenty-one homes in distinguished developments such as Seminole Landing, Jupiter Hills, Loblolly Pines, Loblolly Bay, Jupiter Farms, Jupiter Island and Sailfish Point. In addition to his residential work were many commercial projects such as St Jude’s Catholic Church, Ralph Lauren Polo, Publix Supermarket and a business office complex.
While enjoying a growing and prosperous business in Florida the thought of moving back to his home on the Cape was always present. His decision to move back in 2001 with his wife and two young boys enabled him to bring back with him a dream to establish his company on the Cape and to once again rejuvenate his family’s name in the construction business.
For the past eight years Russell and his crew have built and renovated many homes on Cape Cod in addition to a recent project in the state of Maine. While Russell enjoys the process of building the entire home, renovations and small “add-ons” are equally challenging and rewarding to achieve for his clients.
Russell’s passion to build is prevalent in his commitment to quality, his “hands-on” construction style as a General Contractor, and his coherency with his clients.
